District Vision Statement The proposed vision statement — “Community rooted. Every child included. Learning, innovating, and leading — thriving today and prepared for tomorrow” — was presented for Board review and feedback. The vision was developed over the past year with input from staff, families, students, and community partners. Following Board input, the statement may be refined and brought back for formal approval in February.
Facility Master Plan Phase 1 Update Nexus Solutions scheduled to review Phase 1 progress, including first-round priority needs projects from the Facility Needs Assessment, relocation of the D100 Wellness Center to enable Everest High School expansion, and upgrades to bring Perry Elementary School to Tier 2. The presentation included project breakdowns by site and timelines. The district is preparing for Phase 2, which may include an Early Childhood Center and additional priority projects.
Upcoming Contract Renewals & Reports Administration presented a list of annual reports and contracts, with plans to add contracts exceeding $25,000 for regular Board review. Future contracts under consideration include capital expenditures, curriculum renewals, content filtration, Microsoft renewal, ClassLink integration, iStation, Elevation, and Learning A-Z.
