2024-2025 School District Scorecard: Administration presented the annual scorecard identifying growth targets for Key Performance Indicators across five strategic plan goals. The scorecard tracks district progress throughout the year. School-level scorecards will be reviewed at the October committee meeting with board action requested in October.
Choir Program PE Waiver Request: The district is seeking a five-year waiver from Illinois School Code’s daily physical education requirement to allow high school students in approved show choir programs to be excused from PE. A public hearing and board approval are scheduled for the August school board meeting.
2027 Graduation Dates: The Graduation Venue Selection Committee recommended holding Class of 2027 ceremonies at BMO Center on Sunday, May 23, 2027, with Belvidere North High School graduating at 10 AM and Belvidere High School at 2 PM. Rental agreement and estimated invoice were reviewed.
Multilingual Program Review: The committee received an update on multilingual programming.
Summer School Programming Recap: Administration provided a recap of District 100 summer school programming.
Social Emotional Support Update: The committee received an update on social-emotional support services.
Agape Therapies and Educational Services Contract Renewal: Contract renewal for academic services was discussed.
