Norms for Collaboration: The committee reviewed its collaboration norms (start/end on time, review materials ahead, respect time-keeping, assume positive intent, share the air), which have been in use since the 22-23 school year. Norms are reviewed and revised as needed at the start of each August meeting and checked at subsequent meetings.

2024-2025 School District Scorecard: Annual scorecard presented identifying growth targets for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each of the five strategic plan goals. The scorecard tracks progress throughout the year. School scorecards scheduled for review at October Educational Services Committee meeting with board action requested at October School Board meeting.

Middle School Schedule Research Study Proposal: Administration proposed a comprehensive review of the middle school schedule aligned with strategic plan Goal 2, Strategy B: “Explore time, staffing, and other resources to improve the effectiveness of supports and interventions.” Administration recommends board approval of the research study proposal.

Annual Approval of District and School Plans: Annual review of district and school plans presented.

Approval of the D100 Portrait of a Graduate: District 100 developed a “Portrait of a Graduate” framework to serve as a guiding document aligning with the district’s mission and vision. The framework serves as a foundation for the Strategic Plan and ensures curriculum and instructional practices prepare students for life, career, and lifelong learning. Administration recommends board approval of the final draft.

Research Study Proposal: Portrait of a Graduate Strategic Plan - Phase II: Administration requested approval for Phase II focused on operationalizing the Portrait of a Graduate through a student-led process to develop a continuum of outcomes, professional “portraits” for educators and leaders, and a new strategic plan. Administration recommends board approval.

Inclusion Research Study Update: Update provided on inclusion research study.

NWEA Map - Annual Contract Renewal: Annual contract renewal for NWEA MAP assessment system presented.
